Don Carlos are my ultimate favorite pipes, but unfortunately harder to find lately since there is no US distributor. Always very lightweight, balanced construction, and beautiful style/finish. Great value for the level of quality Bruto produces.
Bruto's rustication is nice, a little more rounded than some, nice and lumpy.
All these Italian guys make .... roughly... the same pipes, Ascorti, Radice, Sordini, Castello, Caminetto, Ser Jacopo... etc... there's a lot of this guy worked for that guy, then started his own company and that guy's kid worked for this guy's new company, then they split but got back together with Grandpa's friend ..... Bruto came out of MdP to form Ser Jac, then left to do Don Carlos.... I mean.... jesus it's confusing. Anyhow, pretty good pipes!
