Falcon bowl salt treatment

why not use the pipe stem on the bottom of the bowl?
That way you fill the humidrome with salt and soak the bottom of the bowl as well.leaching out any tar absorbed on the underside as well
But you'd tie up your pipe stem and wouldn't be able to smoke your falcon with another bowl.

I think I have some rubber stoppers that may fit.

I was lucky to find 70 % ISO alcohol at the store for the first time in months. I did pick up some 151 dark rum, however, a few months ago.

I found a place where I could buy 55 gallon drums of 99% ISO Alcohol when we first were told to shelter in place, but I thought that was a bit excessive.

Have you used this method
with success? I am merely
stating this is how I do it.
YMMV

no I was asking the question ,and adding my thoughts why it may be an option..i have never needed to salt/alcohol a falcon bowl.
I agree it would tie up your stem but most people have other pipes:)
As for the alcohol damaging the bit,I hadnt considered it but dont think alcohol will damage nylon or what ever they are made of
