What kind of hobo has that kind of scratch?
None I know. For that kind of money I'll glue an Indian head nickel on a Zippo, and be glad to sell it to anyone for $175.00.
To each his, or her own, but that's some serious money for that lighter. I'll let that lighter for a buyer who has much deeper pockets, and a thicker wallet than I do these days.

That is actually a good idea. Take an old nickel and epoxy it to the side of a plain zippo.

I am wondering how good you feel when you discover you lost it. My thinking is too much common sense and very shallow pockets, I will have to pass as well.
