I have intrest expressed for those 2 pipes. The one on the left is a Savinelli. The one on the right I don't know.
The bits are in pretty rough shape. I'll see how it goes. I am starting oxy clean bath for the bits for a couple hours. Then I'll scrub them down and go from there.

Finishing up this Savinelli for a veteran.
The stem was a pain to clean. So much tar that a pipe cleaner could not go in more a quarter inch. After several soakings with oxygen clean and many scrubbings with bristled and regular pipe cleaners. After much alcohol and pipe cleaners. I am finally satisfied.

The bowl was reamed. The cake was absolutely insane. I couldn't stick a pinky finger in there if I tried. So after a good ramming. I have some sanding to remove the rest of the cake. After that it will get the salt and alcohol soak. Finally clean the shaft to finish and then hen buy a couple tins of tobacco so I have them to pass on.

On a side note: I love being able to do this for as many veterans as I can. So if anyone donates pipes to the cause. Please make sure that you have taken care of the pipe. I greatly appreciate it!
