Rubber tips?

One more thing to ‘fuss’ with, so none left these days. They seemed to dry & crack here after a little while & I didn’t replace. I preferred cutting or putting them on ‘backwards’.

Feel like crap.
They are an additional item to keep free of crap.

Have them on all my pipes.
Trick is to purchase different sizes from different sorces.

They are all different and one might work well on one pipe but not on another.

I used to buy a hand full of what ever they had when i bought o new pipe. Even shelled out for the big softy kit.

Now i always have one that fits and feels good.

Not a fan. I've tried them but they make every pipe feel like it has a bit that is WAY too thick. They just aren't comfortable to me and it makes me enjoy the experience of smoking my pipe much less. I also think they aren't aesthetically pleasing. To each their own though. I know some guys that love them and put them on every pipe, especially on acrylic stems because they don't like the feel of acrylic on their teeth...which doesn't bother me at all.

They are gross. Your saliva gets under the rubber. If you leave it on it will oxidze a rubber stem. And who knows what microscopic critters grow in that wet dark environment.
