New pipe enjoyer here, thanks for the comments on my introduction post, loved reading comments and seeing where everyone is from. I received my new pipe today and am learning how to use it properly, enjoying my new blends quite nice also.
With that being said, I know work-from-home is a big thing now post-covid, how many of you smoke while working? I'd like to see your setup even if you don't actually work from home. Some of us have man caves, some of us have sheds, I'm just set up in my old garage where I've got a table that I've cleared out some space for work and pipe-related activities. I hope to have a mancave with a nice air purifying system or a shed one day for this hobby but for now this will do.

My work laptop is in the back, I am a software developer, currently I'm in a fantasy basketball league so that's what's on my mac in the front.

Nice to meet a fellow computer scientist.
Currently studying Computer Science at undergraduate level. I don't really have a smoking setup per se, I just smoke wherever I can; Outside, pub, ditch, home occasionally.
I use a Thinkpad X220 running Linux Mint for university. Perhaps of some interest to you is that we use an Intel 8086 Assembly Simulator developed by a former student at the University I study at for our system organisation class.
I do occasionally smoke at school if I have a long gap between lectures. I struggle to smoke while doing work or study at the same time, I can only really focus on one or the other.
Oh also that's a very pretty cob you have.

It's probably my fault.

Do you find it hard smoking on campus? Also, do you have a pouch you carry along with you with your essential pipe items? I'm trying to picture how the prep goes in between classes. I'm assuming once you're pretty good at it it's not as cumbersome as I find it to be as a newer smoker.

My setup is on the deck out back. Missing is a table as the deck is being used as a staging area for an irrigation system replacement.

Here's my work from home smoking setup. I slide the left external monitor in front of the right one when I'm roasting coffee.
This is a true wfh setup, 4 screens, 3 keyboards! You even have the mini fan set up, this is actually more important to me because I tend to have warm/sweaty hands!

The shop of a craftsman I see. This picture art! I'm also a new homeowner and tool collector, one day I'll hopefully get to that level!

Yeah, I run hot, I even use a fan at work when I go into the office. Not pictured is a Logitech Triathlon mouse paired with both computers an one of my phones.

Yeah I have a wee leather pouch I originally bought for tobacco, but now I just use it to carry my lighter, tamper and pipe cleaners. I throw that in my bag along with a pipe and a tin or pouch of tobacco. It's handy enough, I rarely get the chance but sometimes I might have a 2-3 hour gap between lectures and that's when I'd smoke. I just pick a bench, throw some tobacco into my pipe and light up. You're right when you say it gets less cumbersome with time. Nowadays whenever I go for a walk I just grab my smoking stuff and put it in my jacket pocket without even thinking, even if I don't know if I'll be able to smoke or not. In my early smoking days I'd be thinking about which pipe and which tobacco I'd bring and I'd make sure I have everything, etc, etc until I'd nearly forget about the walk.
