Decided to clean mine up a bit, it's time to expand but I need to finish a few projects before I start a new one. Definitely need to build some pipe racks.

Beautiful setup! Nice cobs, and it looks like one of them is a Missouri Meerschaum General? Also love the antique tins. I've been thinking about starting to collect some of these, but the prices can be crazy high.

What can you tell us about the crate that holds the jars? Is this something that you made? The diagonal cells are pretty rare.

The MM that looks like the general was one of their BWC series pipes, I forget which one. The old cans were my grandfather's and a nice touch. I found the diagonal rack in the crawl space of my house. I believe it was being used as a wine rack, I thought it would work better holding tobacco jars!

As a boy I was fascinated with the (few) tins that my Dad had but clearly he viewed them as nothing more than containers that had a job to do and not as art objects.

If I were you I'd head back into that crawl space to see what other treasures it might yield. As much as I like the Michaels soda crates that I use for storing jars, they have nowhere near the 'soul' of your crate. Very cool.
