Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple and a navel orange. Fed Suzy and Molly, who have been rather quiet this evening, and I'm now smoking Wilke Chocolate in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg with a black vulcanite tapered stem. I'll likely finish the day with this smoke.
Found a half burned bowl of Marble Kake from yesterday. It changed into something very different. GAK. Now I have to go w/ the LNF in a large Irish Second. Coffee and Superior Scotch snuff then To The Batcave, Robin.
Good morning everyone, I cracked a tin of two year old Yorktown to try it out for the first time. Thanks for the tip @Olmstead and @Steve Wright. Smoldering away in my MarTelo and going very nicely with my breakfast coffee.
Be careful about using alcohol. It can cause fissures to form in the air way of the stem. I've seen that happen. I use hot water. I don't get it pristine clean, but I know it won't crack inside.
Relaxing after a wonderful baked ziti dinner with a bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 Bulldog with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Just getting moving this morning. Having some Storm Front in a MM Twain. It's Spring Break time here and it's raining a bit -- so instead of the beach folks are going to be *everywhere* -- bracing myself for my Saturday errands.
